Return Policy

SHAND Collection: To make a return, all items must be unwashed, undamaged, unworn, and tags must still be attached to the garment. We are happy to accommodate returns within 14 days of receiving your SHAND item for exchanges or store-credit that can be used within two years of your return. If you would like to process a refund, please email orders@shandla.com.

However, if a fit doesn’t work for you we are happy to accommodate a return for store-credit that can be used towards a Vintage piece or a design from our Collection. Every design is truly one of a kind, recreated to be uniquely irreplaceable. A big part of what makes our Vintage items so special includes the history of our antique fabrics and items, please note that natural wear and marks are normal and part of the narrative weaved into the garment

fabrics and process

Sustainability has always been at the forefront of our designs. When starting SHAND, it was fundamental we build a beautiful brand while contributing back to our environment wherever possible. We also recognize we are a new brand and we have a lot to learn. We are not perfect but are consistently evolving and growing through feedback and improving our practices, relationships, and process every day. From fabrics to trims, materials, packaging, and paper, we take the time to invest in working with companies that use recycled materials and meet our standards.

For our Collection items, we use deadstock fabric materials: leftover fabrics from fashion houses that potentially overestimated their needs in ordering for any specific collection. Luckily for us, rather than adding these fabrics to our landfills and waste, we have the opportunity to get creative in recreating new designs through these pieces. Because deadstock fabrics never offer large quantities of material, we get to create designs like a work of art through offering limited items.

For our Vintage pieces, we use upcycled garments, re-purchased, created, altered, and made to be new again. We believe preloved garments have a story to tell. They have been part of a previous narrative and we work to weave stories from the past into the future through designing new looks while using vintage and antique materials. Every one of these designs are one of a kind. For a custom Vintage piece, please email ryan@shandla.com.

For our SHE SH& collection, which includes our SH& Cap and SH& Pins, we use several different companies and are working to consistently source new relationships to meet our standards. Our SH& Cap and SH& Pin are not currently made with sustainable materials. We will always be transparent about any products that are not sustainable and are consistently looking for new companies to work with that meet our standards.
